We design our kits and patterns using a painterly approach, where simple embroidery stitches are not perfectly aligned, but resemble an artist’s brush strokes.
When combining different kinds of threads, textures and stitch techniques, our needlework fabrics work together with the embroidery floss, perle cotton, fine crewel wool and needle felting fibres we offer.
Create your own unique Thread Painting Embroidery using our watercolour or coloured pencil artwork as a guide and our Cosmo embroidery floss colour recommendations.
We print our patterns onto Zweigart and Cosmo brand needlework fabric, using professional fabric printing equipment and Oeko-tex standard ink.

Punch Needle Painting Designs
Short Stitch Punch Needle Embroidery
1/16 – 1/4 inch long stitches
This Punch Needle art uses embroidery floss, finer threads and specialty fibres. Also known as Punch Needle Embroidery, Mini Punch and Punch Needle Craft. Tools include no-slip hoops, stretcher bars and Punch needles incorporating smaller gauge tips recommended for 1 – 6 ply embroidery floss.
THREAD – Embroidery Floss, Perle Cotton, Crewel Wool, Other Specialty Threads & Fibres. Stitched on the front as surface punch embroidery (flat stitches) or the back (loop stitches)

Our needlework fabrics work beautifully with our entire line of hand embroidery patterns. We use premium European & Japanese fabrics in solid colours plus a subtle metallic fabric is also used.
Our Hand Embroidery Kits include embroidery threads (floss, perle cotton, specialty threads, etc), Zweigart or Cosmo brand needlework fabric, printed with the pattern, colour picture and diagram for reference, plus a stitch guide showing colour placement and basic instructions. Short instructional videos for stitch techniques can be found on this website.
Our Embroidery Kits are designed as decorative art, not as utilitarian projects such as pillows or clothing. We recommend framing your finished embroidery under glass to be enjoyed as an heirloom piece.
